A bearish hiring outlook for 2023 for Meta Platforms

Meta Platforms, Facebook's parent company, reported its third-quarter financial results on Wednesday, suggesting it will take a bearish approach to hiring in 2023.

Its net income reached approximately $4.4 billion, a year-over-year decrease of 52%. EPS for the quarter was $1.64, missing analysts' consensus estimate of $1.89.
